San Diego, California is the ideal destination place for a resort. There are San Diego Resorts with breathtaking views and amenities, but the most impressive thing about San Diego and any San Diego Resort is, of course, the weather. There are some nice resorts that come to mind for their glamour and prestige such as the The Grand Del Mar, Hotel Del Coronado and a few others. How could you not be impressed? After all, these places cost an arm and a leg, so I’d be quick to write a review on all of these establishments if they were sub-par in any possible way.
Fortunately, for those of us people that would still like to have a wonderful, peaceful and elegant stay at a resort, yet not have to give up our retirement for such a luxury, there is a little place you should see.
Your first visit to the little retreat called Castle Creek Inn Resort & Spa in the northern part of San Diego will be nothing short of amazing. There are so many things to to enjoy, such as the golf course adjacent to the property, to the trees and flowers, the mountains, the ocean just a short drive away, tennis, and the list goes on and on.
The 18-hole championship golf course is a golfer’s dream. The magnificent San Diego North County’s foothills provide a breathtaking back drop for the Castle Creek Golf Course, one of the most scenic and traditional San Diego golf courses. Avid golfers and beginners alike love to play at this course. It has something for everyone.
Each time I visit the resort I take a stroll in the Nature Walk, a beautiful path amidst incredible foliage and the creek. None of the San Diego Resorts have this addition actually on the property; only Castle Creek Inn includes a nature walk on the grounds of its property which is ideal for a romantic or casual walk. The Nature Walk ends up in a very inviting place for a picnic or for savoring some drinks amidst nature. For many, this is the essence of the resort. There is no better place to enjoy nature and have the inviting San Diego weather complimenting everything around you.
If you have a family and would like to stay a few days or more, it is highly recommend you take a look at the private Villa. The spacious Villa features three comfortably furnished bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, with wrap around decks and panoramic views of the golf course. It comes complete with a full kitchen, wet bar, dining/living room, fireplace, free high speed wireless internet access, private parking, and much more. It is the perfect place for a family reunion, or simply a romantic getaway. The price is about half what you would pay at the other San Diego Resorts.
